COOKING CLASS
Cooking class in school is basically to allow us how to do light cooking. A week before cooking, we are told to write down the recipes. Here our teacher will also tell us to search for recipes from the internet. This time round, we are making mini doughnuts.
On the day of our cooking class, we will be measuring the flour, sugar and other dry ingredients separately. Teachers teach us how to use the measuring scale accurately. Despite having the digital scale, we are still exposed to use the older version too.
Its fun because we get to feel the texture of flour, icing sugar and etc. Once measured correctly, all wet and dry ingredients are mix together. Each of us will be given the chance to mix us ingredients well. Then roll out the dough into small balls which we will fry in the kitchen area. Once completed, we keep it cool for awhile before covering mini doughnuts with icing. Takada… we learnt a new recipe which can practice back home.
We also to cut onions, chillies in small when cooking something spicy.
